About
I am a social anthropologist based in Cape Town, South Africa. My work intends to theorize the practices and possibilities of life-making and life-sustaining that arise from new technologies and new knowledges of life. I focus on the relationship between technology and capitalism, and how this shapes reproduction and reproductive lives in the afterlife of colonialism/apartheid. My work is mostly broadly situated within medical anthropology and feminist and postcolonial science studies.
